The energy retrofit of a multifamily building in Tavros, following the Passive House Concept
The Brief
“Passivistas: The Tavros project” concerns the energy retrofit of a multifamily building in Tavros, following the Passive House Concept and it will be implemented by HPHI in collaboration with Municipality of Moschato-Tavros and Greenpeace Greece. They asked me for a website in order to present the project but at the same time finding funds for the realization of the project.
The Challenge
As an object, it contains terms and words which should be presented in such a way that it will be understandable to the average user. At the same time, the main concern was to present the real benefit of the project, which is none other than the improvement of the daily life and quality of life of the residents of this building.

Solutions
Appropriate material
The truth is that there are not many similar projects in order to do research and get some information. The concern from the beginning was to make the project understandable, which would be based on the appropriate material that would be used on the website.

- and figures that will show the benefit of the venture.
In cooperation with the people of the project, we created what was necessary.
Completion of the Branding
The project logo was already created and I can say that it was a good start. Absolute angles and based on the cubes of the logo representing the various important elements of a passive house, I completed the project’s image of the venture.
UI Design
Sharp angles, square shapes that derive from the logo and bold modern fonts were the basis of the design. I created the home page divided into 6 main categories in order to provide immediate and essential information about the project. Essentially the home page is like a one page website that expands any part it needs on internal pages.
The whole process was divided into stages, starting with the creation of sketches for each page, before moving on to wireframing and the final design.
Custom Lotties
I designed custom lotties that fulfil the whole branding of Wellpet, besides the website.
