The Brief
HNC Coin is an open-source blockchain and cryptocurrency based on the blockchain technology of Dash cryptocurrency focused on offering a fast, cheap global payments network that is decentralized in nature.
According to the project’s white paper, HNC Coin seeks to overtake widely established cryptocurrencies with similar technologies.
The Challenge
Crypto-world is already full of tech terms and things that many people have hard time to understand. The challenge was to make the project as simple as possilbe in terms of navigation and easy for someone to understand the main tech principles and goals of HNC.

Research
Nowdays, the number of cryptocurrencies has increased rapidly. Many crypto’s websites rely totally on website templates, because usually there is luck of time and budget. That was the key difference in order for HNC to stand out. A design that communicate with users in simple terms and have the tech feeling at the same time.
Branding
The logo was the beginning of everything. The concept of it begins and ends with the open circle, which represents the warmth and hospitality Lacanea can offer, by letting each visitor feel thath he enjoys his holiday and be “protected” at the same time.
I was asked for many detailed examples in order to have an integrated view of the branding.
Particular attention was paid to the colors and fonts I’ve used, in order to fulfil the branding HNC needed.
UI Design
I was asked for very detailed wireframes for both desktop and mobile devices to eliminate possible doubts at an early stage.
The hardest part was to gather all the available information and present it with the most informational way, in order for the user to get the structure and purpose of the whole project.
Small details was added on the implementaion, like the creation of lottie files, in order to give a more tech feeling.
